MY 'PRETTY ME UP' PRODUCTS+MINI REVIEWS part2

Hey beauties!
Today i'm doing the second installment of my PRODUCTS THAT MAKE ME FEEL BEAUTIFUL+MINI REVIEWS part 1

I decided to funk up the name :P These products just made me feel pretty, beautiful and loved, and I'm going to mini review them, tell you their cost and how they work for me!
Anyway, i hope you enjoy it, and lets jump right in!!!

I will be having a mix of drugstore, and high end brands. Lemme begin with the drugstore ones...

1. I have written a review on this (Himalaya Herbals Purifying Neem Face Wash ), simply because it is the best face wash you can have. It is for Rs.100 and it is really inexpensive, gentle on the skin, gets rid of pimples and acne scarring and even lightens the skin!

2. This is, again, a part of the Himalaya Herbals Line. I got this one for Rs.28, which is just unbelievable cuz this babe moisturizes like...i can't describe it. Ingredients are: Castor Oil, Coconut Oil, Wheatgerm Oil, Carrot and Sweet Indrajao. It is so light, non greasy and a handy thing to have around in your pocket :)

3. If you have dry, sensitive skin, this Eye Makeup Remover by Estee Lauder is perfect. It removes the darkest of waterproof kajal like a dream, and doesn't tug on my eyes. This is more like a luxury product to me because the cost is high: Rs.1,240 ($20). I 'borrowed' it from my mother (never giving it back :P)

4. I used this face cream day and night during the winters and it has really given me soft, supple skin. It is the Oriflame Pure Nature Organic Aloe Vera and Arnica Extract Face Cream. Phew...that was a long name. It costs Rs.350 on Amazon. But i really like it because it is a heavy duty face cream that does some serious moisturizing during the winters.

5. OH MY GOD. This is one of the best body lotions I own. It's luxurious, fast absorbing, smells like heaven, and is oh-so pampering. It is the Victoria Secret Pure Seduction Hydrating Body Lotion. Yep, that's the name. It has red plum and freesia and smells really sweet and fruity. It costs Rs.870 ($14), but its quality covers up the high cost.

6.Oriflame You Dazzle Hand Cream is my next product. It is super fast absorbing, has a gel-like consistency which turns into liquid once on the hands and smells like roses! (always a plus!) I like it because it is so light weight yet incredibly moisturizing. It is reasonably priced at Rs.229.

7. Saving THE best for last, is my Coach Poppy Flower Eau De Parfum which is my all time favorite perfume. It costs Rs. 4,725 on Amazon.in. I am in love with its floral, fun, yet sophisticated scent which lasts for 5 hours. I wear it almost every single day, and I get many compliments when i have it on. It is one of those perfumes that you get a whiff of, and then you get this mad urge to find out who is wearing it!

(I know there are a few products in the main group picture that i haven't mentioned, but the reason is because i realized they weren't as pampering or 'pretty me up' as the others.)

That is the end of today's post! I really hope you enjoyed it, and liked reading it. If you buy any of these products, do tell me if you like them!

Please do comment, share and subscribe. Do you have any 'all time favorite' products? Do tell me in the comment section :) I'd love to hear from you!

Smiles and Love till my next post!
Byeeeeee :)

PRODUCTS THAT MAKE ME FEEL BEAUTIFUL+MINI REVIEWS part 1

Hey guys!

Today, I'm trying something different; Products that make me feel Beautiful! I'll also be doing mini reviews, with my experience and all, so you have an idea about what the product is like. Valentines Day is coming up, and it is not only about that 'special someone', but it is also about friendship and love in general. I'm inspired by Valentine's Day!

I do have some drugstore products and some high end brands, and both my phases of this tag will have a mix of both. These are things which are just simply awesome, because they make me feel just loved. So, let's just jump right in cuz i have A LOT of stuff ;P ( I have so much, I'm gonna split this post into two sections!)

1. Don't Laugh! But a pair of fuzzy, cotton soft socks always make me feel relaxed, and amazing and cuddly! These actually belong to my mom, but she hasn't used them at all, so i stole them from her cupboard without telling her!
At night, i just rub in some foot cream into my feet and put these on and OH MY GOD i feels like heaven :) Winter can take a toll on your feet, and this with my next product is like magic!

2. My next product is by Oriflame Feet Up. It is their Overnight Moisturising Foot Cream with Avocado and Aloe Vera. I put this on at night before my socks and in the morning, i get baby soft feet! It absorbs in really quickly too, but the scent is normal. It is a bit on the pricey side, costing Rs. 249.

3. I have already reviewed this product: Oriflame Feet Up Advanced Foot Scrub. It is a really amazing foot scrub which not only exfoliates, but also moisturizes and is anti-bacterial. It cleans the feet off their dead cells really well and is one foot product that you need to own! I have already gone through two whole tubes of this! (GUILTY!) This baby costs Rs.349.

4. This Eyeconic Kajal in Black by Lakme is my all time favorite! It's a nice, coal black eyeliner. It costs Rs.200. I've already done a review of this: Lakme Eyeconic Kajal in Black Review
It's smudge proof, waterproof, sleek stylish and stays on for a really, really long time. Once you've got it on your eyes, its not going anywhere :)

5. This Oriflame Kohl Pencil in Nude 23859 for RS. 175 is just the most natural nude color to put in the waterline. It's super creamy, pigmented and just brightens up the eyes. It's perfect for Indian skin. My only complaint is that it doesn't last that long. Otherwise, i put it almost every single time i go out and it's just awesome!

6. This is the Elf Shimmer Eyeliner pencil. It's just for a dollar, which is INR 61. This is a steal for just 60 bucks. The swatch on the right is it. It's really sparkly, smokey and can be used as an eyeliner as well as an eyeshadow. I heat it up a little on my wrist before i use it for a creamy application. I just love this because it gives a nice color to the eyes without being too bold :)

7. The Elf Shimmer Gloss in the shade "make a wish" 75122 is for $2, which is again quite a steal. It's such a perfect shade to wear on a daily basis, it's pretty without being an in-your-face color and it's staying power is about five hours, without eating food, which is quite good. It is a little bit sticky, but i'm cool with that :)  and, it smells like bubblegum, which is always a plus!

8. I'm ending this review with a really affordable perfume with is ah-mazing!It's the Layer'r Wottagirl Body Splash (how fancy does that sound?) in the scent Mystic Island. It costs just Rs.195, which is pretty cheap for a perfume.
Even though it's a body mist it lasts for the duration of a toilette, and it smells like a more sophisticated version of shampoo. Say whhhhaaat???? But yes, it does smell like that in a good way. It has aquatic, floral and light notes, which remind of a tropical paradise! I love this thing to death!

Anyway, I'm closing off now. This review is way to long as it is, but i will be doing a part 2 soon, so look out for that!(some exciting things coming up!!!!) (MY 'PRETTY ME UP' PRODUCTS+MINI REVIEWS part2)

If you like my favorites, and if you have any monthly favorites, please comment down below! I'm thinking about doing an Empties post. What do ya think?

See you till next time!!!  :)

Himalaya Herbals Purifying Neem Face Wash Review

Product Name: Purifying Neem Face Wash
By: Himalaya Herbals
Weight: 100ml
Cost: Rs 100.

Heya chocolatefrosties!
(I told you in my Lakme Eyeconic Kajal in Black review that I'd call you that!)
This product is my holy grail face wash. Literally. I cannot say just how much it has helped me. I have gone through more than 6 bottles of this, and i don't think I'd ever stop. Even if i try to use another face wash, it reacts with my skin and i get pimples. This has saved me!

It is a neem face wash, and neem is famous for its anti bacterial and anti acne properties. It also contains turmeric which really helps in preventing pimples. I have used this face wash for a year now, and i know all about it, it's pros and cons and the way it helps the skin.

PACKAGING: It has a firm, sturdy packaging. Bits of it are translucent and some bits are clear, but you can always see how much of the product is remaining. The cap is very secure, and i have always carried this bottle with me when i travel. It never leaks! The cover is fresh, green and a nice, bright thing to have around.

TEXTURE, SUBSTANCE, SCENT, PRODUCT: The product is translucent and green, it is not greasy or too runny, but it has a gel like consistency. It has a mild, pleasant grass smell that is not at all irritating or too strong.
When used on the face, it lathers up quickly. It is soap-free which is wonderful as soap strips the skin of its natural oils. It washes off quickly too, which is always a plus :)

MY EXPERIENCE: I cannot express how much i love this face wash, and I'm possessive/obsessive  about it. It leaves my skin really soft, cleansed and smooth. I can actually see all the dirt it removes from my face. It is really gentle on the face, and is okay for sensitive skin, oily skin, and even normal skin like mine. It does not dry out the skin, but i always go over it with a moisturizer.
I don't know if this happens to anyone else, but i find that it even lightens my skin to a certain extent. I recommend this to everyone with acne, as it makes sure you have absolutely no pimples. It also fades pimple scars gradually. The skin feels very fresh after washing. I use it every morning and night.
The effects of this face wash will not be seen in a weeks time, but in a month there will be a huge difference in the way your skin looks! Just use it on a daily basis...

So, summing this incredible face wash up,

PROS:
- Travel Friendly
- Sturdy Packaging
- Nice Smell
- Really Removes Acne
- Fades Pimple Scars
- Brightens the face
- Good for all face types
- Not at all drying
- Awesome Price

CONS:
- I have been using this for a year with no side effects :)

BEAUTY RATING: 4.5/5

RE-PURCHASE: I highly, highly, highly recommend this face wash. I absolutely love it, and i will keep buying it.

WHERE TO FIND IT:

Donna Michelle Pink Berry and Strawberry Lip Gloss Review

Name: Scented Lip Gloss (Pink Berry & Strawberry)
By: Donna Michelle
Weight: 14.2 g
Cost: Rs.62 (Rs. 124 for both)

Hey pumpkins!
Today I'm reviewing two lip glosses by Donna Michelle. These two beauties are scented in 'Strawberry' and 'Pink berry'. They come in flexible, squeezable plastic tubes.

As you can see, the 'Pink Berry' scented one has a lighter tint than the 'Strawberry' one. The applicator is a typical plastic slanted edge.

Sorry! My camera gets terribly unfocused.
Anyway, each one is extremely sheer and has a very light tint. It feels very, very smooth and soft on the lips. Almost like butter! It is also very moisturizing. I'd use it rather as a tinted lip balm than a gloss, as it gives very minimal amount of shine.
And it's lasting power is so low. In about half and hour it just disappears. I don't know if my lips are just too dry or if i lick it a lot..but it just vanishes! Like it slides right off! I've read other reviews with similar problems.
They both smell sweet like strawberries and are very similar to one another. The scent is not very strong nor very mild.
The packaging is nice and tight, and i find it travel friendly.

You can see how sheer it is. The one on the left is 'Pink Berry' and on the right is 'Strawberry'.                                             I have applied just one layer, but you can build up the color. However, i find that is you apply too much it just spreads everywhere. It's perfect for a quick walk, or a visit to the nearby grocery store because it won't last long enough for anything else!
I personally prefer the 'Strawberry' one because it has a slightly stronger tint (comparatively).

PROS:
- Has a sheer color, if you like that kind of tint.
- Comfortable packaging
- Good price
- Sweet smell
- Very smooth
- Is very moisturizing (like a lip balm)
- Travel-friendly

CONS:
- Low lasting power
- Very little shine

Rating: 2/5

I wouldn't buy this product again. It's a nice thing to have around, but worthless as a 'lip gloss'. This is just my personal opinion. A lip gloss is ideally supposed to last for a good amount of time and have a decent shine.

Which is one lip gloss that has disappointed you?

Calvin Klein CK One Shock for Her Perfume review

Name: Calvin Klein CK One Shock for Her Perfume
By: Calvin Klein
Weight: 100 ml
Cost: Rs.3,500

First off, i was gifted this perfume. I had heard so many reviews on this, bad and good. Here is mine...

The packaging is unique. 'SHOCK' is written across in a paint brush style in pink. But i'm a bit disappointed with the bottle itself.

The second picture is the perfume with the cap on, but then the spray nozzle thing isn't with it. The first pic is the bottle with the spray nozzle, but then there is no cap! :O

The nozzle is given separately. This is so inconvenient! They should ideally have both together.
Ok, now down to the perfume itself. It lasts on me for about 5-6 hours. To me, it smells like Vanilla, Blackberries and Fruits.

Top Notes: Peony,Red Poppy, Passion Flower.
Middle Notes: Jasmine, Narcissus, Mexican Chocolate, Blackberry.
Base Notes: Musk, Patchouli, Amber, Vanilla.

I honestly love the smell of it. It's perfect for formal occasions, casual parties and even an evening walk in the park. I wear it very often, it's my go-to perfume. It has a kind of sharp edge to it, which i can't exactly describe.

PROS:
- Smells good.
- Fun packaging
- Lasts for a decent amount of time

CONS:
- Not for travelling
- It does not have a cap :(

All in all, it boils down to the fragrance, which i love. It's classy, chic, sharp and subtle at the same time. I'm so glad i was given this!!!!

Oriflame Mirage Body Spray Review

Name: Mirage Body Spray
By: Oriflame
Cost: Rs. 229
Weight: 75ml

              Hey guys!
Honestly, I'm a bit disappointed with this body spray. I don't recommend it for the sole reason that it's dry. Out of 100 parts, at least 30 parts are dry. Literally, just the spray comes out with no scent.
Here is the official description of it:
ORIFLAME MIRAGE Mirage is Oriflame's new perfume, mysterious and enchanting. Experience the exotic journey and awaken the hidden passions with every drop of this composition; a blend of seductive elemi notes, mandarine, orange, roses, jasmine, intensive vetiver, amber, sandalwood and vanilla. Mirage is enclosed in a special designed elegant bottle of dark green colors with golden trim, ideally suited to the magical nature of this mysterious fragrance, as it conjures images of magical charms and miraculous recipes.

I'm not going to delve into the notes and the undertones as they are clearly given above. That done and over with, let me tell you about my experience with it.

It is rimmed with a golden band, something that i haven't seen before. The bottle is emerald green, with waves of slightly different green shades over it. It is a very pretty packaging, and that is what attracted me to it in the beginning.
It smells like...spices...and flowers. Sandalwood, jasmine, vetiver. I can smell them faintly. What i love is it's smell. If it wasn't for the dryness, i would say that this is the best body spray i have got till date. The scent clings for about a couple of hours.

PROS:
- Really travel friendly packaing
- Stunning to look at
- Smells heavenly
- Golden band ;)

CONS:
- Dry

I wouldn't buy this body spray again, but i would definitely love love love to buy it's perfume form. The smell (like i said before) is captivating!
Well, see ya till next time!

Sanctury Spa Covent Garden Hand Cream Review

Name: Sanctury Spa Covent Garden Hand Cream
By: Sanctury Spa
Cost: Rs. 244
Weight: 30 ml or 1.01 US fl oz

             Hey creampies!
As you all can see, I have really loved this hand cream and it is well-used! (Almost flat)
I personally feel that many of Sanctury Spa products are underrated. Their products are just so amazing! Non of them have disappointed me and frankly, i love all of them!

First off, the packaging is cute and super easy to carry around. The orange cap really adds a pop of color! The cap is a simple flip on/off cap which is nice and secure.
The words 'almond oil' and 'shea butter' caught my eye! These ingredients are known to be extremely moisturizing. The product inside is off white in color and so so buttery smooth! It smells like oranges and citrus fruits.

I apply a dollop of it every night before i go to sleep and it just leaves my hands so smooth and soft!
I love this hand cream so much!
 (P.S: It's over now)
 Lemme sum it all up!
PROS:
- Cute packaging
- Travel Friendly
- Smells nice
- Super moisturizing
- Perfect for dry to normal skin types

 CONS
- um.....non yet....

So here was a quick review about the Sanctury Spa Covent Garden Hand Cream. Hope you enjoyed!
