Donna Michelle Pink Berry and Strawberry Lip Gloss Review

Name: Scented Lip Gloss (Pink Berry & Strawberry)
By: Donna Michelle
Weight: 14.2 g
Cost: Rs.62 (Rs. 124 for both)

Hey pumpkins!
Today I'm reviewing two lip glosses by Donna Michelle. These two beauties are scented in 'Strawberry' and 'Pink berry'. They come in flexible, squeezable plastic tubes.

As you can see, the 'Pink Berry' scented one has a lighter tint than the 'Strawberry' one. The applicator is a typical plastic slanted edge.

Sorry! My camera gets terribly unfocused.
Anyway, each one is extremely sheer and has a very light tint. It feels very, very smooth and soft on the lips. Almost like butter! It is also very moisturizing. I'd use it rather as a tinted lip balm than a gloss, as it gives very minimal amount of shine.
And it's lasting power is so low. In about half and hour it just disappears. I don't know if my lips are just too dry or if i lick it a lot..but it just vanishes! Like it slides right off! I've read other reviews with similar problems.
They both smell sweet like strawberries and are very similar to one another. The scent is not very strong nor very mild.
The packaging is nice and tight, and i find it travel friendly.

You can see how sheer it is. The one on the left is 'Pink Berry' and on the right is 'Strawberry'.                                             I have applied just one layer, but you can build up the color. However, i find that is you apply too much it just spreads everywhere. It's perfect for a quick walk, or a visit to the nearby grocery store because it won't last long enough for anything else!
I personally prefer the 'Strawberry' one because it has a slightly stronger tint (comparatively).

PROS:
- Has a sheer color, if you like that kind of tint.
- Comfortable packaging
- Good price
- Sweet smell
- Very smooth
- Is very moisturizing (like a lip balm)
- Travel-friendly

CONS:
- Low lasting power
- Very little shine

Rating: 2/5

I wouldn't buy this product again. It's a nice thing to have around, but worthless as a 'lip gloss'. This is just my personal opinion. A lip gloss is ideally supposed to last for a good amount of time and have a decent shine.

Which is one lip gloss that has disappointed you?

Calvin Klein CK One Shock for Her Perfume review

Name: Calvin Klein CK One Shock for Her Perfume
By: Calvin Klein
Weight: 100 ml
Cost: Rs.3,500

First off, i was gifted this perfume. I had heard so many reviews on this, bad and good. Here is mine...

The packaging is unique. 'SHOCK' is written across in a paint brush style in pink. But i'm a bit disappointed with the bottle itself.

The second picture is the perfume with the cap on, but then the spray nozzle thing isn't with it. The first pic is the bottle with the spray nozzle, but then there is no cap! :O

The nozzle is given separately. This is so inconvenient! They should ideally have both together.
Ok, now down to the perfume itself. It lasts on me for about 5-6 hours. To me, it smells like Vanilla, Blackberries and Fruits.

Top Notes: Peony,Red Poppy, Passion Flower.
Middle Notes: Jasmine, Narcissus, Mexican Chocolate, Blackberry.
Base Notes: Musk, Patchouli, Amber, Vanilla.

I honestly love the smell of it. It's perfect for formal occasions, casual parties and even an evening walk in the park. I wear it very often, it's my go-to perfume. It has a kind of sharp edge to it, which i can't exactly describe.

PROS:
- Smells good.
- Fun packaging
- Lasts for a decent amount of time

CONS:
- Not for travelling
- It does not have a cap :(

All in all, it boils down to the fragrance, which i love. It's classy, chic, sharp and subtle at the same time. I'm so glad i was given this!!!!

Oriflame Mirage Body Spray Review

Name: Mirage Body Spray
By: Oriflame
Cost: Rs. 229
Weight: 75ml

              Hey guys!
Honestly, I'm a bit disappointed with this body spray. I don't recommend it for the sole reason that it's dry. Out of 100 parts, at least 30 parts are dry. Literally, just the spray comes out with no scent.
Here is the official description of it:
ORIFLAME MIRAGE Mirage is Oriflame's new perfume, mysterious and enchanting. Experience the exotic journey and awaken the hidden passions with every drop of this composition; a blend of seductive elemi notes, mandarine, orange, roses, jasmine, intensive vetiver, amber, sandalwood and vanilla. Mirage is enclosed in a special designed elegant bottle of dark green colors with golden trim, ideally suited to the magical nature of this mysterious fragrance, as it conjures images of magical charms and miraculous recipes.

I'm not going to delve into the notes and the undertones as they are clearly given above. That done and over with, let me tell you about my experience with it.

It is rimmed with a golden band, something that i haven't seen before. The bottle is emerald green, with waves of slightly different green shades over it. It is a very pretty packaging, and that is what attracted me to it in the beginning.
It smells like...spices...and flowers. Sandalwood, jasmine, vetiver. I can smell them faintly. What i love is it's smell. If it wasn't for the dryness, i would say that this is the best body spray i have got till date. The scent clings for about a couple of hours.

PROS:
- Really travel friendly packaing
- Stunning to look at
- Smells heavenly
- Golden band ;)

CONS:
- Dry

I wouldn't buy this body spray again, but i would definitely love love love to buy it's perfume form. The smell (like i said before) is captivating!
Well, see ya till next time!

Sanctury Spa Covent Garden Hand Cream Review

Name: Sanctury Spa Covent Garden Hand Cream
By: Sanctury Spa
Cost: Rs. 244
Weight: 30 ml or 1.01 US fl oz

             Hey creampies!
As you all can see, I have really loved this hand cream and it is well-used! (Almost flat)
I personally feel that many of Sanctury Spa products are underrated. Their products are just so amazing! Non of them have disappointed me and frankly, i love all of them!

First off, the packaging is cute and super easy to carry around. The orange cap really adds a pop of color! The cap is a simple flip on/off cap which is nice and secure.
The words 'almond oil' and 'shea butter' caught my eye! These ingredients are known to be extremely moisturizing. The product inside is off white in color and so so buttery smooth! It smells like oranges and citrus fruits.

I apply a dollop of it every night before i go to sleep and it just leaves my hands so smooth and soft!
I love this hand cream so much!
 (P.S: It's over now)
 Lemme sum it all up!
PROS:
- Cute packaging
- Travel Friendly
- Smells nice
- Super moisturizing
- Perfect for dry to normal skin types

 CONS
- um.....non yet....

So here was a quick review about the Sanctury Spa Covent Garden Hand Cream. Hope you enjoyed!

Feet Up Deodorising Foot Powder Review

Name: Foot Up Deodorising  Foot Powder
By: Oriflame
Weight: 75g
Cost: Rs.169

                          Hey Powderpuffs!
There are not many foot powders out there in the market. So this really interesting me. It;s really cute and orange in color. Perfect for travel as it doesn't occupy much space.

The cap has to be twisted to open, and you need to prick the silver foil underneath to make holes.

Being a foot deodoriser, it basically removes any stink or smell from from feet. Come one, be honest! We all suffer from stinky feet!!!!
Personally, my feet don't stink but i wear shoes from 6 in the morning to 4 in the afternoon...so anything that keeps my feet refreshed is good! I just put some in my palm and dust it over my feet. It doesn't get absorbed into the foot, but gives it a chalky look. Who cares? Your feet are going to be covered anyway!
It smells like a citrus fruit, very summery smell. It is said to have bergamot and lime. But what i really, really like about this is that it keeps the feet feeling fresh throughout the day.
It is perfect for those people who wear shoes for a long time, who sweat a lot, whose feet stink a bit....or those people who live in generally sticky, humid climates.

PROS:
- Cute packaging
- Travel Friendly
- Smells great
- Lasts long

CONS
- Gives a chalky look to the feet
- Doesn't get absorbed into the foot

That's it for now! Stay tuned for more reviews coming up :) Please follow, comment and share!
             Bu-Bye!

Lakme Eyeconic Kajal in Black Review

Product name: Eyeconic Kajal
By: Lakme
Cost: Rs.199
Weight: 0.35 g

               Hey buddies :)
I like using a new name for you guys every time i post something. So don't be surprised if tomorrow i call you chocolatefrosties!!!
Today, i'm reviewing the Lakme Eyeconic Kajal in black. I saw so many ads about it and heard so much about it that i decided to try it out.

The first thing i noticed was 'Waterproof' and '10hr stay' and 'No smudge'. I sweat a lot and usually a normal kajal of mine will be smeared and blotched by the end of the day. For the people out there who have oily skin, this is just for you :)

It was securely packed in an attractive blue-black casing and that was something which caught me eye. Once opened, it is thin and long like any kajal stick and is in a twist-up tube. It is really creamy in texture so while applying it to your eyes, you don't feel the pull on your lids. BUT, it is not as intense and black as the Colossal Kajal from Maybelline.

I wore this kajal and went to a theme park, spending the ENTIRE day out and about with it on. Plus, since it's waterproof and it is raining a lot in India, it doesn't smear into a scary black mess :P One thing that i love about it is the fact that it fades beautifully, if you know what  mean. It doesn't just slide right off your lid. At the end of the day, the kajal had smudged just a tiny- little, giving me a bit of a smokey eye look :) The stick is as thin as this :

     Here is the color:

PROS:
- 10hr stay
- No smudge
- Waterproof
- Creamy yet firm (not crumbly)

CONS:
- Isn't a very intense black.

This is perfect for outdoor everyday wear as it stays on the lids for a decent amount of time. All the kajal lovers out there, i strongly suggest you buy this!
See ya buddies, till my next review!
Please comment, follow and share. it would mean the world to me :)

Oriflame Milk and Honey Gold Liquid Hand Soap Review

Product name: Milk and Honey Gold liquid hand soap
By: Oriflame
Cost: Rs. 298
Weight: 300 ml

How can someone resist the name 'Milk and Honey Gold' ?
How?

That's right...you can't. This bottle literally looks like it contains delicious honey! The packaging is AMAZING! Every day, i actually enjoy washing my hand!!!
The packaging is one of the best I've seen. It's see-through so the golden wash inside can clearly be seen. It also has a golden honey-comb design on the bottle (see at the right of the above pic). The nozzle of the bottle closes if you turn it to the left, and opens it turned to the right.

The liquid inside smells like real honey! Yummy! And as weird as this sounds, I'm having a hard time not eating it.

How realistic does this look? The liquid foams easily and really cleans the hands well. When i wash it off, my hands feel noticeably smoother and has a really mild honey fragrance to it...which i absolutely love! It's perfect for all skin types and does its job well!

PROS:
1. Cute packaging
2. A warm golden-brown honey like liquid inside
3. Has organic extracts of Honey and Milk
4. Shelf life of a year
5. Smells too good to be true
6. Soften hands

CONS:
1. Pricey
(I really can't find any other con.)

I have really fallen in love with this hand wash. It's worth the splurge. Believe me.
Will i buy it again?
YES.

Which is your favorite scented hand-wash?

Sunsilk Natural Recharge Shampoo and Conditioner

Product name: Sunsilk Natural Recharge Shampoo
                       Sunsilk Natural Recharge Conditioner
By: Sunsilk
Cost: Rs. 219 for 340 ml shampoo
Rs. 132 for 180 ml conditioner
Weight: Shampoo -340 ml
             Conditioner - 180 ml
When i passed by this in the shop, i immediately picked it up. I knew it was a long shot picking up these HUGE bottles, but they were Parabens free AND Neutral pH. It has Ginseng Root and Oil, and promises 5x fuller, thicker and stronger hair. Every hair product by Sunsilk has always worked well for my wavy hair, and so i gave this a try.

#FACT: I love products which have natural ingredients.

The bottles are a lovely, soothing mix of light green and pearl white. The shampoo bottle is completely opaque, so if i hold it up against the light i can see how much I've used - which is quite a lot!

The packaging in both is solid, with a firm cap on top which opens and closes with a pop sound. It's completely leak-proof and hence, travel friendly. Did you notice the golden glitter? It bought me! The cap on the shampoo and conditioner look like this:

 Let's begin with the shampoo.

Huge bottle, and so much product in it. I love the front of it! Here is the back of the bottle and the stuff it promises:

The Ingredients:

Oops! Th pic came out sideways. Sorry. I was delighted to find out that there was no Paraben! But it still has harmful silicons. I poured some on my hands:

The substance is opaque too, and has a bit runny consistency. It has little sparkles in them and smells very natural and mild. It lathers up easily on my scalp, which is something i like. When i wash it off, my scalp feels CLEAN. There is no other word for how it works. I feel like the sweat and grim is just pulled out! The mild smell is no longer there, so i won't mingle with the perfume i spray on later.
   Now, the conditioner:

I have to say the same thing about the packaging as with the shampoo: beautiful and firm. It promises thicker, fuller abundant hair. The instructions and ingredients are:

Even this is parabens free!!! I squeezed some out:

As you can see, it's whiter than the shampoo and also thicker. It has a lotion-like consistency, and smells like the shampoo. I leave it on for a minute or so and then wash it off. It conditions very nicely, and leaves my hair soft and smooth to touch when air-dried.
The shampoo and the conditioner together are a perfect combination: like two jigsaw pieces put together. When my hair is dried, it appears a bit more voluminous, and has a very clean feel to it. It's also soft, silky and smooth to tough. My hair doesn't feel pulled down, dry or itchy like some conditioners. But the stronger, thicker and five times fuller hair are just claims. It doesn't achieve all that. It's just a very good product. After 2 days, my scalp gets oily again so then i wash again.

PROS:
1. Parabens free and neutral pH
2. Firm, opaque, travel friendly packaging.
3. Smells mild.
4. Lathers easily
5. Cleans the scalp very well
6. Doesn't pull down the hair, or make it dry.
7. Leaves the hair a bit more voluminous, soft, smooth and silky.

CONS:
1. Has silicons like every other shampoo
2. Doesn't fulfill it's claims.

Would i buy this product again? Yes, yes and definitely yes. I love it.
Please follow, comment, like and share!

Oriflame Tender Care Coconut

Product name: Tender Care Coconut
By: Oriflame
Cost: Rs. 299
Weight: 13g

#FACT: I love any product with a coconut flavor.
So when i saw this limited edition Tender Care Coconut, i immediately bought it!

First off,  the packaging is so cute and distinguishing! It's a creamy white color with the Oriflame symbol on the top, and when i opened the box, i got the brown little beauty out.

For those of you who don't know what Tender Care is, it's a balm with nourishing properties and can be used on knees, elbows, cuticles and lips to soften it. It comes in a variety of flavors, but they are all limited edition. I'm in love with the range, but its pricey! (Rs.299)

The balm is a translucent color but the fragrance its COCONUT! It's a very fresh, real coconut smell and that's one of the reasons I'm so excited to have this product! When i bought it first, i had really chapped lips and now mine are baby soft!
I use it only o my lips and cuticles since its a really small quantity. It has REALLY softened my cuticles and my lips. However, its very similar to petroleum jelly in appearance, texture and quality. That's a bit of a let down. So if you want a similar product, but cheaper, petroleum jelly is better.
I carry it every day in my purse: it's one of my must-haves.

PROS:
1. Compact and travel friendly packaging
2. Cute packaging
3. Wonderful Coconut fragrance
4. Softens rough patches miraculously

CONS:
1. Pricey
2. Available to only Oriflame consultants
3. Petroleum jelly (eg. Vaseline) is a cheaper version of it with same efficiency.

Hope you liked this video! Please Share, Comment and ENJOY!

Maybelline Baby Lips Rose Addict

Product name: Baby Lips: Rose Addict
By: Maybelline
Cost: Rs.150
Weight: 4.5g

As you can see, I'm hopeless when it comes to saving the covers of products. The good-old me just threw the cover of this amazing lip balm into the trashcan. Oops!

This nifty little thing is my life saver. It's been used to much (the picture is self-explanatory. I was travelling and kept the Baby lips in the same compartment as Odomos. The cap of odomos came out and the substance inside spilt on Baby lips, literally peeling off the white letters.). I used to have trouble finding the perfect lip balm, with SPF and which served as a gloss too. Then i saw this. I used it. Now it's irreplaceable:)
This one is in the flavor Rose Addict, and has SPF 16.

A lip balm, gloss and lip stick with SPF is a must buy. Spf goes a long way in preventing our pout from darkening. We have to turn the bottom dial 2-3 times to see the stick. On the internet, if you see the cover, it promises pink coated lips.

Unfortunately, that is not the case. It has just a hint of pink when applied to the lips, and to get a more visible shade one needs to apply it many times, which leads to a waste of the product and over-greasiness on the lips. So people looking for bright colors on their lips should turn back now.
This shade was obtained after applying it 5 times
However, it is perfect for girls like me :) It serves it's purpose as an extremely good lip balm, with moisture that lasts for 4-6 hours, depending on if you eat anything. It has a mild rose fragrance and leaves a fresh, translucent pink shine on the lips.

PROS:

1. Moisture lasts for a good 4 hours.
2. It had SPF 16.
3. Leaves a subtle pinkness to the lips
4. Not sticky or greasy.
5. Travel-friendly.
6. Budget-friendly.

CONS:

1. Not bright pink in hue.
2. No strong fragrance.
3. Lettering comes off easily.

All in all, I'm definitely ging to buy this product again, but maybe I'll try Berry Crush. I've heard it has a more prominent color. Till my next review, bye!

Which is your favorite multi-purpose lip balm?

Oriflame Feet Up Advanced Foot Scrub

Product Name: Foot Scrub
By: Oriflame
Price: Rs. 349
Weight: 100ml

I liked the foot-print on it!
My mom is a consultant or Oriflame and hence, this product. Here's the description of it given in the catalogue: 'Anti-bacterial Lemon Myrtle and Intensive Care Complex purify and revitalize your feet.'
The packaging is nothing too great, but its good, and the scrub comes out easily. The scrub itself is cream coloured with mint green granules and flecks of brown. Take a peek:

Did i mention it contains Anti-bacterial Oils which are so good for the feet?
After my foot has soaked water in for 10 minutes or so, i put a dollop of the scrub on each foot and begin rubbing it in. The granules work extremely well in exfoliating the foot, being not too mild or too harsh. It's perfect. But the smell of the scrub the moment it comes on your feet is a bit sharp. The smell of the Anti-bacterial oil can be smelt distinctly.
Here comes the AMAZING part...it moisturizes as well! The moment i wash it off, my feet are soft and smooth and oh so lovely! This scrub exfoliates, kills bacteria, leaves a lingering clean smell to your feet, and moisturizes as well! That is a huge save of money. Instead of buying a separate anti-bacterial, a separate exfoliator and a separate moisturizer, i just buy this!
This is perfect for those people who have rough, dry feet and don't want to spend too much time attending to it.
PROS:
-  Exfoliates very well
-  Kills bacteria and has Intensive Care Complex
-  Moisturizes!
-  Leaves a lingering clean smell to the foot (can't describe it!)

CONS:
- Sometimes the smell gets  bit overwhelming (while applying it)
- A bit runny in consistency, but otherwise fine

I really hoped this post helped you! Please share this on Google+, Follow me and comment telling me what you thought of the review!
   Bye:)

Dead Sea Glycerin soap

Product name: Glycerin soap
Seller: DeadSeaShops.com
Price: Rs.261
Weight: 125gm
Ingredients:

Review:
I was very interested about trying this soap when i bought it because as the name suggest, its a Glycerin soap. Glycerin is known for their moisturizing properties.

The cover of the soap is very nice and attractive, and when you remove it, the soap is covered with a plastic film. Now lets go down to the soap....

It has ingredients like Dead Sea Salts, Palm Kernel oil, Olive Oil, Aloe Vera, and Dead Sea Black Mud...exotic!
The soap is very wide and has a creamy white color. It has a very pleasant, fresh soap smell.  It glides very smoothly over moist skin and it is extremely creamy and soft. After using it, my skin was left very supple and moisturized. I have normal skin, and i loved it for my pores. I would definitely recommend this for people with dry skin as a daily soap. It works effectively to cleanse AND hydrate.

Pros: - Good quantity

         - Makes the skin very smooth and soft
         - Many Natural ingredients

Cons: - Pricy

Would i buy it again? Probably not, because the price is a bit high. But now that i already have got it, i want to use it everyday! I would definitely ask my readers to try it at least once because it is pampering!

I hope this review helped you, and if it did, please comment and tell me about your experiences with this soap! Bye! see you next time!
